A few days ago, some friends were talking with me about music and, one of them said she loved "Brother Morphine" and couldn't get it out of her head. I told her how the song came about; that I got the idea after being in a car accident and given morphine for the pain. I described the hallucinations from books and tv shows. After I told my story, she said to the others at the table."He has a memory like a steel trap."
Here's the link to BACK IN BLUE the EP tht features "Brother Morphine"
Personally, I think walking is vastly underrated in this cutting edge modish society of ours. Yeah, I know, I have a website and like I Blog, too but I also like to ake a long walk to clear my head. I get some of my best song and promotional ideas from taking a walk. So for that reason, I like the phrase Artist's Walk. I didn't invent it, though; it's a term that Julia Cameron uses in her books about creativity and being an Artist. When I get tired of being confined to house or computer, I walk on the nature trail or to the Library. or the store. It's important for mind and body.
Today is a good day for my Artist's Walk because, fall is in the air. Enjoy the last days of summer and, here's a web link for you!
I took my morning walk today before working on the website. The Artist's Walk. Weather chilly in the shade. unusual for August. Will Continue my Behind The Muisc Blog again in a few days.
I used to take lots of walks beore doing a writing projecft. I got a chance to do my Artist's Walk in the hot sun today before working on my website. Even thought=it's the dog day time of year, I plan to take more walks to boost creativity.
